Ok, so AAPL hit 54ish and all the while we were busy buying puts, betting on the stock turning and falling. This week it happened, AAPL got caught in the maelstrom trading of the first week of October. We have defensively positioned for The Market to break down because, well listen to the previous podcasts to hear what our sentiment was through September. So we took some profits off the table and the $5,000 that we started with two weeks ago is now $7,500 ($2,500 cash, $5,000 Nov50 Apple puts). We will have a special mid week podcast after the earnings conference call on Tuesday evening.

Founders Copyright and Why It’s Important To Re-create A Commons (show notes)

This show is a bit more esoteric in its theme than past shows. Lawrence Lessig explains the Creative Commons “Founders Copyright” licensing option (14 years/renewable once - then to the public domain - just like the original copyright term), and how it captures the original spirit of copyright that the Founding Fathers intended.
