					<description>mr. Bailey does put a great glossy spin on Monsanto's 'good' intentions, sadly completely contradicted by Monsanto's actions in the recent past.

while I'm a supporter of fundamental and medical research in this field, the practical applications tend to act precisely against the small farmer mr.Bailey appears to care so much about.

Apparently there is no profit in using these technologies in a beneficial way (Monsato's 'resistant' crop varieties for instance are not made resistant to pests as the name implies, but made resistant to herbicides, so Monsanto can sell more of those)</description>
